Annual Harvest Dinner

Join Us for the Harvest Dinner!

Please note: This year’s Harvest Dinner will be Sunday, November 24 at 5:00 PM at Wayside United Methodist Activity Room.

Each family is asked to bring two dishes-vegetable and salad/dessert. You do not have to bring “serving spoons” - the hostess board will provide them. If you are unable to prepare food for any reason, please come any way. There will be plenty for everyone.

Food items may be brought to Wayside before 5:00 PM-preferably between 4:30 and 4:50.

Dear Friends,

We regret to inform you that the Josiah Queen concert has been canceled. We received a call from his agency last evening (Monday, September 16), informing us that they needed to cancel due to their current tour schedule. Like you, we are very disappointed, as we were eagerly anticipating this event.

For those who purchased tickets online, we will be refunding your payment to the card you used. If you purchased paper tickets, you can stop by the church office this week: Monday-Thursday from 9 AM – 2 PM and Friday from 9 AM – 12 PM and the following weeks 8 AM-3 PM or Friday from 8 AM-12 PM to receive your refund.

We are truly sorry to bring you this news, but we encourage you to check out the other exciting events Vienna Baptist Church is hosting in the coming weeks as we celebrate 100 years of ministry to the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Mike Goodwin is a refreshingly funny comedian. His signature bowtie represents his expectation-defying brand of comedy that leaves a variety of audiences-from churches to corporate events to swanky galas-laughing hysterically and completely inspired, without a foul or vulgar word spoken.

A native of Camden, South Carolina, holds a master’s degree in Education from the University of South Carolina, is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a former primary and secondary education professional. He infuses his varied life experiences into his act, making him relatable to audiences from all walks of life. Using his ability to merge leadership and laughter, Mike is a powerful communicator whose primary goal is to leave places and people better than he found them.

He’s appeared on America’s Got Talent, Dry Bar Comedy, Lifetime, BET, Amazon Prime, TBN, Daystar, USA, the Word Network and Circle TV, and been featured on SiriusXM, the That Sounds Fun Podcast Tour with Annie F. Downs and USO Europe Comedy Tour.
